TyMetrix to Discuss Alternative Fee Arrangements and Major Drivers Behind Legal Costs at Council on Litigation Management Annual Conference

| WHY: | Brown will participate in the roundtable discussion, Alternative Fee Arrangements: Perspectives, Toolkits, Implementation and Impact, with other legal services professionals from large national law firms, including Brady, Vorwerck, Ryder & Caspino; Wilson Elser Moskowitz Edelman & Dicker LLP and Haynes and Boone, LLP. The group will discuss the evolution of alternative fee arrangements (AFAs), strategies and tools to implement and support AFA programs, the impact they have on the counsel/client relationship and real-world advice about how they personally use AFAs today. Brown is also sitting on a panel, Understanding the True Drivers of Legal Costs, with representatives from Motorola and Wilson Elser Moskowitz Edelman & Dicker LLP. This session will discuss the findings of the 2010 Real Rate Report, authored by TyMetrix and the Corporate Executive Board. Panelists will discuss the conclusions of the report's quantitative analysis of more than $4 billion in legal spend, providing claims organizations, corporate legal departments and law firms with benchmark data on factors including law firm pricing and staffing practices. |
